Dr. Wanjiru Mukoma

Title: Executive Director, LVCT Health.
Education: Doctorate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from the University of Cape Town
Experience: Dr. Mukoma has worked in the field of HIV /AIDS for over 14 years in Kenya and South Africa where she has been involved in policy, advocacy, research and training. Her professional interests include adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health research, operations research for HIV programming and programme evaluations. She has published in peer reviewed journals and book chapters. Dr. Mukoma teaches modules on policy in the Diploma in Counselling: HIV Counselling and Testing in Clinical and Community Settings.


Dr. Lilian Otiso

Title: Programs Director, LVCT Health.
Education: Master in Business Administration for Health, Strathmore University, Master in Public Health (MPH), ITROMID (JKUAT), Nairobi, Kenya. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.
Experience: Dr Lilian Otiso is a medical doctor with over 11 years’ experience in HIV program management working with government and NGOs. She is in charge of HIV services department that offers a wide range of services provided by LVCT Health including HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC), care and treatment, post rape care, quality management for HIV services and capacity development for local organizations.


Antonio Braizeniv

Title: Business Development Manager
Education: Bachelor of Development Studies degree from Makerere University (2010).
Experience: 10 years’ experience in the field of Business Development with vast exposure in HIV related programming. Antonio is charged with the management of the Business Department. Overseeing the coordination of three divisions; the Training Institute, Consultancies and WEMA division.


Paul Ngone

Title: Senior Trainer at the LVCT Training Institute.
Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from Moi University, a Higher Diploma in Counselling Psychology from TEC Institute and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Gender and Development at the University of Nairobi.
Experience:10 years experience in HIV related service delivery, training, and policy development. In the Diploma programme, Paul trains in Quality Management and Support Supervision for HIV services; Contextual and professional issues.


Annastacia Akhuyia Mugobwe

Title: Trainer at the LVCT Training Institute
Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, a Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from Kenya Medical Training Institute.
Experience: 6 years experience in working with people living with HIV in various non-governmental organizations and training HIV related courses. In the Diploma programme, Anastasia trains HIV and AIDS management and community strategy


Grace Kariuki

Title: Training Services Coordinator at LVCT Training Institute
Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Egerton University and a Higher Diploma in Medical and Psychological counseling from Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling.
Experience: 10 years extensive experience in service delivery, training all HIV related courses. In the Diploma programme, she trains counseling psychology, psychosocial and contextual issues and process and practice of HIV counseling and testing modules.


Martin Muthare

Title: Care and Treatment Coordinator
Education: Diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College
Experience: Martin Muthare is the Care and Treatment Coordinator and a trainer at LVCT training insitute. He holds a diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College. He is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health at Kenyatta University. Martin has 5 years of extensive experience in Comprehensive Care for People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) and training of HIV related courses. In the Diploma programme he trains in Care Component that encompasses the comprehensive care for PLWHIV.


Jane Wangari Nderi

Title: Clinical Officer
Education: Diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College
Experience: Jane Nderi currently works as a clinical officer with the LVCT Health Care Clinic. She holds a diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College. Jane has 5 years of extensive experience in Comprehensive Care for People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) and training of HIV related courses. In the Diploma programme she trains in HIV and Care Component that encompasses the comprehensive care for PLWHIV.


Kelvin Ngugi

Title: M&E Officer
Education: Bachelor of Science-Pure Mathematics from University of Nairobi, Certificate in Measure evaluation, Statistical Packages (SPSS, STATA, MATLAB, R-Gui and advanced excel) and Certificate in M&E Fundamental and Data use for program managers.
Experience: Kelvin currently works as a Monitoring and Development officer with the LVCT Health. He has over 3 years of extensive experience in monitoring and evaluating HIV and other health related programmes, works closely with the Research division in research conceptualization, developing protocols, implementation and data management for research studies.


James Nzola

Title: WEMA Kazini Program Officer
Education: Master of Arts in Monitoring & Evaluation of population and Development Programme from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Sociology & Psychology (Arts) degree from University of Nairobi.
Experience: Nzola boasts of over 8 years of experience in the field of HIV programming and training in HIV related courses. He is in charge of overseeing the day to day programming for Wellness Initiative at work places. Nzola is versed with HIV @work place trainings and programme monitoring and evaluation.
